Creative thinking is on a roll this season, in the new DCM Interact
With Art Gallery exhibit on the upper level!
Come join the fun and get your wheels turning! Children love wheels. Bikes,
cars and favorite toys have wheels.
Wheels give us the power to go fast, move big heavy things and ride to
places far, far away. In Wheel
Works of Art children can connect with the creative side of familiar
wheels. Then, ready to build on that knowledge, discover fantastic moving
machines created by some of today’s cutting edge kinetic artists. Wheels make
machines work, but it takes a lot of creativity to know how to make a gear turn
enough other parts to make a clock run or a CD player play. Come explore the use of wheels and how they
can be used in art. Appropriate for ages
up to 10 years. Free to DCM members and
free with general admission, presented locally by Continental Acura - Audi of
Naperville. Also, ask about our Tiny Great Performances™ in December
and January—for a complete listing,
please visit the Museum web site. Learning
Labs enhance your group’s skills in math, science or the arts—for group
visit information, please call ext. 6150.
