The live interactive portion of KDN is unavailable because of lack of funding. Teachers are invited to have their classrooms participate in one of the existing challenges.

KDN is a free web-based program offered by DuPage Children's Museum. This program satisfies National Education Technology Standards 4, 5 and 6 and National Education Science Content Standards A and E.

We are seeking financial assistance. Supporters will be recognized on this site which is visited by thousands of people each year. Please contact kdn@dupagechildrensmuseum.org or 630-637-8000 ext. 2500 for more information.

Take the Challenge! Invent a Gadget! Take the Challenge!

With Kids Design Network, you'll investigate a challenge, dream up a design, and draw your plans on the computer. Then, using the Internet, you can show your design to a real engineer! They'll help with your design, so you can go and build it! And best of all, it's free!
