One visit to the Museum will show you the power of play and how it goes hand in hand with learning, in this special setting where children and adults learn and play together.

DuPage Children’s Museum is an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which relies on business, foundation, government and individual donations and sponsorships to cover about 40% of our budget each year.

After 20 years, DCM is one of the largest children’s musuems in Illinois, is one of the top Cultural Attractions in the Chicago area and is one of the most popular children’s museums in the country. We have some 300,000 visitors per year. 

Any size gift to DCM is helpful! By helping DuPage Children's Museum, you can tell others how you are making a difference in the lives of children—thousands of children benefit each year thanks to our donors and sponsors! Donations, sponsorships and gifts are listed in the Museum’s annual report and big donors are recognized in the colorful donor board on the main level of the Museum.

Giving to DuPage Children's Museum can provide exposure to over 10,000 member families and 300,000 visitors per year. But the real reward is knowing that you are offering vital support to the Museum’s mission of stimulating curiosity, creativity, thinking and problem solving among young children.

DCM provides many opportunities for support to our generous donor community. Following are some ways you can help our efforts:

DCM Annual Fund
You can help enhance more children’s lives by supporting the DuPage Children’s Museum Annual Fund.  Your gift will increase children’s access to the Museum and will help support our many activities and programs.  It also guarantees that a network of dedicated staff can continue working with thousands of children to ensure that they are receiving the full spectrum of educational resources the Museum has to offer, each day.

Legacy Society
By including DuPage Children's Museum in your estate planning, you help enhance the tomorrows for children served by the Museum far into the future.  Whether your planned gift takes the form of a bequest, trust, annuity or retirement plan, we would be pleased to work with you and your representatives in designing the financial vehicle that best expresses your wishes for DuPage Children's Museum.  Your gifts are an important investment in the future!

Matching Donations
Your donations, matched by your company, can make a tremendous difference!  If your company matches gifts, please enclose a matching gift form with your contribution, so DCM is able to receive the maximum benefits of your generous donation.

Gifts in Kind
You help us offset our day-to-day operating expenses through your in-kind donations.  Gifts of art materials or supplies, prizes for special events, services, catering and supplies are always helpful!

Capital Gifts

Sponsorships
Each year, DuPage Children's Museum provides opportunities to sponsor exhibits, galleries, neighborhoods, programs and special fundraising events, raising a significant portion of the local funding needed to sustain the Museum. As a sponsor, you and/or your company gain high visibility to thousands of families throughout the western suburbs and beyond.
