Always up for a challenge, Gina left the room and soon returned, ready with her clues. "OK, now listen, Barney. If I give 8 of my valentines
to my best friends at school and 4 of my valentines to my friends in my
apartment building, I will still have enough valentines left over to give
you, Danny, Aunty and Uncle Bill a valentine." |
What do you think? Was
Barney able to figure out how many valentines Gina made while they watched
a video? Will you be able to? When you have figured it out, be sure to
show an adult and talk with them about how you figured it out. They may
be surprised at how you did it. They might have thought about it a different
way. It's always interesting to see how different people think about solving
math problems. Remember, the best way is the way that makes sense to you! |
I'd like to try the regular challenge, please.
I'd like to try the wee bit harder challenge, please.
I'm a parent/teacher and want to
review parent/teacher tips for this challenge!
