Welcome to Aunty Math!

AUNTY MATH IS CHANGING HER FORMAT!

"Aunt Mathilda" and the DuPage Children's Museum share with parents and teachers a commitment to promoting responsible use of the Internet for children. Starting today, September 5, 2006 Aunty Math will no longer reply individually to children.

Kids:

Aunty will continue to post wonderful challenges for you solve at home or school. She encourages you to share your solutions with your friends, your teachers and your parents.

Parents and Teachers:

Aunty will continue to post Notes and Tips about her challenges, including:

How each challenge meets N.C.T.M. standards and focal points for children in grades K through 5;
Information about the math content within each challenge;
Interesting ways to present and extend the challenges; and
How to differentiate the challenge to make it appropriate for the child you're working with.

In response to your requests, Aunty is adding a new feature to her site. You will soon be able to search for, print, and download previous challenges along with "Notes to Parents & Teachers"!!
