Join Darby Schober from The School of Performing Arts as she leads children in Broadway Babies, a creative dramatics activity appropriate for ages 3-5. Your little Star will shine each week learning spectacular songs and show-stopping moves from Broadway favorites like Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, The Lion King, Annie, The Sound of Music and more! This Week's Activity: Naperville Park District Dance Academy, Concert Dance Ensemble
Activitybegins: 6 p.m.
Members of the Concert Dance Ensemble from the Naperville Park District Dance Academy will perform excerpts from their winter Showcase for DCM visitors on Friday, March 5 from 6-7 p.m. The NPD Concert Dance Ensemble is a pre-professional group of experienced NPD dance program students ranging in age from 9-17. The Showcase (which will be held on March 13 at Naperville North High School) presents an eclectic evening of dances including innovative ballet, energetic jazz and excerpts from "Brigadoon". The group is happy to introduce the Museum's families to the beauty of the dance in support of their mission to further learning about dance and an appreciation of the art.
Museum and exhibits are open until 8:00 pm.

This Week's Activity: Anderson Pest Solutions Insect Zoo
Activity Begins : 5 p.m. (ends at 7 p.m.)
Ever wanted to get nose-to-nose with a praying mantis? Pet a giant pumpkin millipede as long as your hand? See how far a giant lubber grasshopper can jump?
Children will get an opportunity to interact with live insects this Friday when representatives from Anderson Pest Solutions bring their Insect Zoo to the Museum's Art Studio.
The experts from Anderson Pest Solutions will introduce children to nature's Good Guy bugs, such as Hercules beetles, giant lubber grasshoppers, giant pumpkin millipede and more. Find out how, as nature's recycers, these insects contribute to our environment.
Activity Time: 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Museum and exhibits are open until 8:00 pm.

Bring the den or the whole pack! Work on age-appropriate activities and have some fun time in the Museum too. As a bonus, you can stay and play in the Museum!

This Week's Activity: Weber Irish Dance
Activity Begins: 6 p.m.
Dancers from the Weber School of Irish Dance will showcase the rhythmic splendor of the hard shoe and the eloquent grace of the ghillie in a toe-tapping return engagement. Students will perform Celtic Jigs, Reels, Hornpipes, Tipping Reels and Set dances and share with the DCM audience some of the meaning and history of the Irish culture and how its expressed through dance.
Museum and exhibits are open until 8:00 pm.
