For some spring break fun, come to our mini-camp based on our popular school program, Kids Design Engineering. Learn about pneumatic power and use some cool tools as you design and build your own project that will move across land, water or air under the power of a balloon.

Children do not need an adult partner to participate. An adult must drop off and pick up the child at the room. Please bring a sack lunch. Museum floor time during program (included) will be supervised by Museum staff.

Studio Drop-In Activity Theme for the Month: Bugs, Insects and Other Crawly Creatures
Today’s Studio Drop-In Activity: Insect Anatomy, Science Discovery - Create a three dimensional insect to inhabit a habitat that grows over the course of a week. Help the Art Studio transform into a Bug's Paradise.
Studio Drop-Ins are activities in the Art Studio that are FREE to DCM members and/or with Museum admission. Pre-registration is not required.
Activities are on-going throughout each session and will explore alternating math-, science- and art-related discovery projects that support a different learning theme each month. Some sessions provide the opportunity to take something home with you.
All sessions allow you and your child the opportunity to explore and experiment with a variety of materials.
