Studio Drop-In Activity Theme for the Month: Bugs, Insects and Other Crawly Creatures
Today’s Studio Drop-In Activity: 3D Bugs, Science Discovery - Make bugs as colorful as they are in real life. Look at images of the beautiful and bizarre anatomy of insects, mix with creativity and build a three-dimensional creature.
Studio Drop-Ins are activities in the Art Studio that are FREE to DCM members and/or with Museum admission. Pre-registration is not required.
Activities are on-going throughout each session and will explore alternating math-, science- and art-related discovery projects that support a different learning theme each month. Some sessions provide the opportunity to take something home with you.
All sessions allow you and your child the opportunity to explore and experiment with a variety of materials.
Broadway Babies in the Interact with Art Gallery, 2nd Floor
Join Darby Schober from The School of Performing Arts as she leads children in Broadway Babies, a creative dramatics activity appropriate for ages 3-5. Your little Star will shine each week learning spectacular songs and show-stopping moves from Broadway favorites like Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, The Lion King, Annie, The Sound of Music and more! There will be a mini performance at the end of each theme. This is a shortened version of The School of Performing Arts' Broadway Studio Series for ages 3 – 5.
