The Play’s the Thing encourages creativity, imagination, and growing social intelligence – and best of all -- it’s dramatically fun for children of all ages!
Designed for children in all developmental stages of expression, the exhibit allows them to choose whether they want to engage in pretend play about life at home, acting out beloved stories or creating brand new ones. ACT II blasts onto the scene with an outer space theme complete with the giant rocket U.S. DCM as the centerpiece of a dramatic new set. Roam the surface of a distant planet while scouting for alien life forms seen in distant ships. Multiple work stations and control centers assure space for a galaxy of pretend players. It’s out of this world!
