NEW Museum Hours Effective Monday, September 13!
(PLEASE NOTE HIGHLIGHTED CHANGE FROM SUMMER HOURS)

* NOTE: Third Thursdays ONLY 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. On the third Thursday of every month, the Museum will be open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

**The Museum will close at 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17 for a Members-ONLY event that evening. The Museum will be open until 8 p.m. for the general public beginning Friday, Sept. 24.

Hours are subject to change due to school holidays or special events. Please check our calendar for a complete listing of programs, events, closings and school holiday or special event hours. Click here for emergency closing information that may affect our area on stormy days.

Admission prices

General Admission: $8.50 per person (ages 1 to 59)
Seniors: $7.50 per person (ages 60 plus)

Members are always FREE!  Members can join or renew online.

Admission is never required to shop in the Explorer Store.

We offer pre-registered group visit rates for 15 people or more.  For the safety of all our visitors, we require at least one adult for every six children in your group.  If you have questions, please call 630-637-8000.

Please Note: Member free admission and discounts do not apply to group visits, including field trips, learning labs and birthday party guests.

Complimentary and discounted admissions or memberships are available through area social service agencies partnering with the DCM Community Access Network.
